- Have fun!
Most volunteers have a great time, regardless of why they do it.
There are many ways you can volunteer at Lyndhurst Community Centre:
- Join our Reception Team
Support our Admin team during our busiest times, helping with general enquiries about the Centre and its activities as well as taking preliminary details for bookings.
- Join our “What’s On” Delivery Team
Once a month, collect an agreed number of copies of our “What’s On” magazine and deliver them to a particular rod or road(s).
- Join our Library Team
Help staff the Library at agreed times, issuing books and receiving returns as well as fielding queries for books not currently available.
- Join our Events Support Team
Help staff set up and supervise and clear up after events at the Centre.
- Join our Site Improvement Team
Help our caretaking staff with refurbishment projects, perhaps re-decorating rooms or, if you are confident, helping with small construction projects.
- Join our Kitchen and Catering Team
Can you spare time to help cater for events or help clean up the kitchen afterwards?
- Join our Youth Club Team
Come along on a Friday afternoon to help supervise or run activities at our Youth Club for 11-13 year olds.
Training and Induction is provided for all the roles.
