A welcoming community-run library in the heart of Lyndhurst — free, friendly, and open to everyone.
About the Library
The Lyndhurst Children’s Library is run by Lyndhurst Community Centre and operated by wonderful community volunteers. We opened our doors in September 2022, following the sad closure of the Lyndhurst’s public library.
While we are primarily a children’s library, we also have a fantastic selection of adult books. Membership is free and open to all. We were overwhelmed by the local support when reopening was first discussed, and we’re excited to see the library grow from strength to strength.
Please do pop in, escape the rain, say hello, and enjoy browsing the books on offer. We look forward to welcoming you.
